"One who eats Qi will attain enlightenment and prolong life."
-- Tao Hong Jing (456-536 C.E.)

Elements of understanding sometimes seem lost in translation. This quote may be such an example, but what it attempts to convey is how basic, pervasive, and all-encompassing the concept of qi is to every aspect of life. Read more here.

Welcome

  • The core of my acupuncture practice remains private, one-on-one treatment for the deepest, therapeutic healing available for my patients in my Brunswick and now Portland, Maine, offices.
  • My personal commitment to extending the benefits of acupuncture to as many people as possible led me last January to offer Community Acupuncture one night per week in my Brunswick office.

Our current dates for Community Acupuncture are the following: 3:30-6:30 pm ~ "Mondays in June" ~ June 5, 12, 19 & 26 (May 30 is the Tuesday after Memorial Day; no community acu on Monday, May 29)

Text ahead for reservations for acupuncture in this peaceful, group setting: (207) 266-8633. Suggested donation is $20.

The community format is an affordable way to support your health goals, de-stress after a long day, or try acupuncture for the first time. Many people are now experiencing the increased quality of life that results from regular and good acupuncture care. Come join us, on your own or bring a friend.

  • For private appointments in either Brunswick or the Portland office, feel free to call or book online below.

WELCOME to the deep healing and rich tradition that Chinese medicine offers you, whether you want to be free from pain, need support through a difficult transition or major illness, or strive for optimal health.

While a sense of well-being is available to each of us, everyday stress or a serious medical diagnosis can make you feel as if you've fallen out of alignment with your innate sense of health.

The tools of Chinese medicine, combined with the precision of Classical Chinese medicine, can help you restore your good health and reclaim your balance.

At HS-ACUPUNCTURE, you receive:

  • Thoughtful, caring and effective acupuncture treatments, including herbs, tuina, moxa, and lifestyle suggestions regarding diet and exercise;
  • Personalized treatment, quality care and clear communication about how Chinese medicine can best serve your health needs and life goals.

Dear Asheville Patients,

As many of you know, I have committed to returning to Asheville periodically to provide treatments.

In the meantime, I can continue to authorize your herbal prescriptions through a local herbal pharmacy, as well as being available for online phone or Skype consultations.

In either case, feel free to email me your interest, and the best available times for me to contact you if you would like to schedule a consultation. I am providing a link above in order to accept donations for consultation time.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you soon.
